Medical & Infectious Waste
Medical and infectious waste is among the most hazardous categories of waste generated by healthcare facilities. These are materials contaminated with blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious substances, whose improper handling can pose a serious risk to human health and the environment.
Morel collects and disposes of all subcategories of medical waste - from infectious waste contaminated with pathogenic microorganisms, through pathoanatomical waste comprising tissues, organs, and biological materials from surgical procedures, biopsies, and autopsies, to pathohistological and cytological samples from laboratory analyses.
A special category consists of sharps - needles, scalpels, lancets, and glass ampoules - for which we provide specialized puncture-resistant safety containers. For each waste type, we supply appropriate packaging, complete accompanying documentation, and hazardous waste tracking records, enabling healthcare facilities to achieve full compliance with legal requirements.
